| Welcome to our new instructor, Victoria Hickerson. Victoria is not new to Oak View, "Nina", was one of our students and worked here as a teenager. Victoria's family will be seen around the farm as the girls will be riding as often as possible. She will be instrumental in helping with the beginner camps & lesson program. We are very pleased to have her back and are planning on a long term arrangement. Welcome back! |
| OVS July Horse Show A big thank you to our July Horse Show judges, Katie North & Erica Momrow for doing a great job. The July Horse Show has come and gone and what a day it was. We had over 60 horses in attendance many with multiple riders. The day was warm but everyone seemed to stay cool under the shade trees and took full advantage of the water troughs and hoses. The OVS riders really shined as they with a rare exception repeatedly came out on top in the equitation, hunter and jumper classes. The OVS Tri-color recipients were Charlie Brown & Anna L, Just Jump It & Summer T., Dakota & Andrea R, Chips Ahoy & Katie G, Basin Street Blues & Lizzie F, Sunkist & Meredith R, Funny Girl & Rachel F, Teamwork & Jessie M, Silver Stone & Cheyenne E, Debutante & Katie S, Nobility & Ann Ashford M. Our Equitation stars were Meredith, Summer, Senneca, Jessie, Robin, Cheyenne & Katie S.. Many thanks to all of the people who helped to put the show together. It takes a team effort to prepare for the show and we have a great team. |
